Sending ACT to colleges deadline

So I took the December ACT and I haven't gotten my scores yet... I have a chance of getting them on January 1st. However, all of my college apps are due on that date and i need to see my December score to decide which one to send. Is it too late to send my ACT scores on January before 11:59?

Also, if I don't get my December ACT score on January 1, I will just submit my October score. I do not think that I did well on the December ACT, so is it okay if I do not indicate that I took it on my commonapp and just submit it if I did well? Will colleges still consider the December score if it's submitted after January 1st and not indicated on my common app?

I hope this makes sense and I truly appreciate all of your help because it's crunch time for apps! Thanks!

By the way, im applying to Duke, Cornell, UPenn, Brown, Northeastern, Northwestern, CMU, Boston U, Rice, and Notre Dame

No need to worry about your test scores. Indeed, many colleges accept even the January test sitting. You’re fine.
