Sending Additional Information

I'm planning on sending a letter to update Dartmouth on some of my ECs, and I was wondering if I could include other stuff I want them to know. (The kind of stuff that I might've put under "additional information" originally, but didn't because I planned on sharing it with my interviewer. Unfortunately, it looks like I didn't get an interview, and now I'm worried because it feels like my app is incomplete...)

I realize it's kinda late in the admissions process--would they still be willing to read this kind of letter?

It can’t hurt so you might as well send it…

On the Dartmouth website it says this…

“We discourage applicants from submitting large amounts of additional material and we will not process copies of awards or certificates, newsletters, or minor extracurricular updates.”

How do we know what qualifies as a minor extracurricular update (as opposed to a significant one)?

Doesn’t matter. Just send it. Worst case scenario would be some kid who works in the admissions office reads the email and deletes it.

Are you planning on sending a physical letter or an email?

I feel like it’s too late at this point for it to be considered…
