Sending All SAT Scores

I’m an eighth grader, but I’ll be taking the June 1 SAT (with essay). My predicted score (based off of averaging practice test scores) is a 1380, and my PSAT 8/9 score was a 1390, so I think I’ll do reasonably well, but I’m applying to some super competitive schools which require all of your scores (Cornell, UPenn, Stanford, Tufts, and Carnegie Melon) so is it worth sending your scores (with the college board fee waivers)? I don’t want them to think that I performed really badly in eighth grade so they’ll deny my application after I apply.

No. Wait another 3+ years, until fall of senior year, to decide what your actual college list is and which schools need official reports sent vs reporting in the Common App.

Most of those schools no longer require all scores. (Check the requirements on their websites. Your information is outdated.) Even if they did, typically colleges do not want scores from 8th grade. 8th grade scores do not get saved by College Board unless you take steps to save them. If you save the scores for later use, you would be able to send them the next time you take the SAT or a subject test anyway – which you definitely will be doing – as score reports include all older scores unless you use Score Choice. Moreover, some of those colleges now allow self-reporting of SAT scores in the Common App. There is no reason to use a free score report at this point in time.

Not seeing this as a serious thread.
You’re not even in hs yet, have miles to go, much to learn- and it’s unreasonable to think a rising 9th grader can pick top collges when you have no record, no activities, not even a hook to hang your coat on, at the high school.
