Sending ALL scores?

I know SAT is a must for sending all scores, but what about ACT? Can colleges see how many times you took it and if you score choice the ACT? My school does not put scores on transcripts or anything.

If the college requires all ACT scores, then you should send them. As to what ACT does: whenever you order a score sent it sends only the scores for the particular test requested, to send multiple test scores you have to do multiple orders, and when sending a test, ACT does not mention anything that even indicates you took another test.

Have you verified your high school does not put your scores on your transcript sent to colleges? I mention that because if you are reaching your conclusion based on the absence of test scores on the transcript you receive every semester, you may be making an incorrect conclusion since the high school might still put scores on the transcript sent to colleges, so you must confirm the issue by actually asking your high school what it puts on the transcript sent to colleges.

Also, there are are about 15 states now that use the ACT to meet no child left behind laws testing requirements and have their own ACT date for taking that test which is different from the national test dates. If you are in one of those states e.g., Illinois, colorado, North carolina, others) and the ACT you will not be sending is the one that was taken on your state’s particular test date, the colleges will know that you are withholding a test that you were required to take.

I have actually once ordered an official transcript from my school and there were just my grades on it. i live in california so is that one of the NCLB 15 states?

bump. somebody please answer
