I'm hoping to be a 1 year UC-UC transfer to UCLA but they only have one quarter of grades from me so far. The Winter quarter doesn't end until the 3rd week of March which I think will be too late for them to make an impact. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to send UCLA a statement with my grades at the midterm and my projected GPA for the Winter quarter.

You don’t have to send in any sort of statement. You will just revise the Transfer Academic Update with your winter grades (yes this can be done after the TAU deadline). None of the UC’s will take any grades after your Fall Quarter into consideration for admissions purposes. Never report “projected grades.” Good luck! UCLA considers CCC transfers and UC-UC transfers with equal priority so if your fall grades were solid and you’ve met all the minimum requirements, you should be in!
