i know i can report my ap scores on the columbia app, but that isn't exactly official... should i fax them my ap score report? or are ap scores not significant in the admissions process?

if i am positive the admissions officers will not recognize my face, is there a positive or a negative side in sending in a photograph of myself? should i even bother?

this past summer i did a 1-month selective internship at a hospital that exposed the field of medicine to me. i feel like it was a major part of my summer, and i received a completion certificate at the end of the program. is this important enough to send in as additional info? or should i merely list it as just another EC/summer activity? (my EC essay is not on this topic)

thanks.

I never sent my aps in, and it didn’t hurt me. That said, get your official score report sent via collegeboard. It’s not very expensive and it can’t hurt your app (assuming you did well).

Send in a picture. It’s much harder to say no to a face than to a series of pieces of paper.

As for the internship… eh… I can’t really say not to send additional info, as I sent them buckets of additional stuff. But that doesn’t really sound like something worth a completely separate submission, except as relates to its impact on you, in which case it would be a good topic for your essay. I guess what I mean is that it doesn’t sound like it would have so much impact on its own, apart from how it affected you, that it should be sent as supplemental information UNLESS this supplement went into detail about how the internship affected you, and then it would just be like submitting two essays which I don’t think would be smart.

thank you.

also, is there any way to send ap scores online? does it have to be by telephone? can i make a copy of the score report they sent me? ugh

if youre ugly, no picture

hahaha then picture it is.

where does it leave a spot on the application for self-reporting AP scores?
