Sending AP Scores to Colleges?

<p>I got my Calc BC/AB scores today.</p>

<p>What is the point of sending your AP scores to colleges? Are you supposed to send the scores to all the colleges you plan on applying to? Are you supposed to wait until you've taken all the AP tests before sending all of them? Can't you just designate it on the college app when you're applying?</p>

<p>You can send an official score report to colleges, but don’t. They are used for placement, not for admissions. There is a section on the CommApp for you to self-report your AP scores. You can choose which one’s to send. Also, there is space to write which APs you’ll be taking your senior year.</p>
