i am exempt from the writing placement test because i received a 3 in my AP English Language test.
Am i supposed to send my AP score officially to prove that i am exempt before MAY 8th (testing day)?
or can i send it in when we take AP tests for senior year during May, where we can send it in for free during the exam?

Yeah just send it in for free. Did you report on your UC application that you had a 3 on AP Lang?

actually, i called them about this after emailing them.
and the guy said i dont need to worry as long as i passed an ap english exam.
he said if you didnt get a postcard in the mail telling you that you need to take it dont worry.
but if you want to check call 800-839-8507
theyre really nice and when i called, the guy checked and said im fine.
and that in may, when you take your ap tests, indicate on the packet to send your scores to ucsd. itll send every score you have/will get ([AP Scores ?AP Test Scores](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>View Your AP Scores – AP Students | College Board))

Thank you very much!!

i don’t know why i am so skeptical about the whole system! my mom is telling me to send my AP scores in advance…i don’t want to because i don’t want to waste money! and i don’t have to! according to you guys.

Can any of you guys tell me what kind of English/writing class i will be taking when i am enrolled? do freshmen take all the same English class or are there levels? btw i am admitted to Warren.

You’d be taking WCWP10A, which is the first in the 2 part series of warren writing. After that, you’d take WCWP10B, then Poli 27, and finally poli 28. Freshman take writing classes that reflect their colleges. For example, ERC students take MMW (making of the modern world). We used to have warren writing honors, but I think that program got cut… =
