Sending AP Scores

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I took an AP test this past school year as a sophomore. </p>

<p>While registering for the AP test, I decided to send my scores to a college, but I didn't know at the time (nor do I now) what "sending AP scores" exactly means. Is it just for rising juniors who need to send scores to the colleges they are applying to? And if so, should I tell CollegeBoard not to send the scores?</p>

<p>I would appreciate if someone could enlighten me as to what it means to send AP scores.</p>

<p>You do it when you’re a senior and know where you are going to go to prove that you earned credit. AP scores at the time of college application are self-reported.</p>

<p>In that case, do you suggest I should tell CollegeBoard not to send the scores?</p>
