<p>it's optional. You can just self-report the scores you want your colleges to know about for now, and submit an official score report later when you know which college you are attending. I think it is $15 per college.</p>
<p>I agree with texas137--no need to send off scores now; self report the scores on the application. Once you get into a college and choose to go there, you'll be required to send your AP scores to them--so that they can figure out how much credit to give you or help you decide class placement. Check the collegeboard site for fees.</p>
