Sending AP scores

I kind of want to send my AP scores to colleges already (to get it over with) even though I haven't sent my application yet.

Do you think its a good idea to send scores even though they probably dont have a file under my name?

Will the scores be lost?

Patience, grasshopper.
Let them open an admissions folder for you first.

Why would you send AP scores? No school I know of requires this.

question: D took AP test in junior year. Now as a senior does she need to send the score to the colleges that she applied to? If so, how do we do this? Will it help? Do a lot of applicants do this? In May, she'll take more AP tests. Thanks for your help.

No, you just self-report AP scores if you want. No need to pay money to have them sent to your colleges.
