On the applications, i remember a place for listing AP classes taken and scores recieved. I put the scores down, but do I have to send an official AP score report now, or do i wait until after i get accepted?

college board sends them with ur SAT scores

no, college board doesn't send them with your SAT scores.

i just sent my sat score and on my UCI account, my AP scores are still listed as "self reported" while my SAT scores are official.

you only send them once to the school that you plan to go. if you are taking an ap tests this year, there's a place where you fill out which college you want to send your scores to, and it will be free for one college, which should be the one you'll be attending in fall. (you'll know what college you'll be going to by may)

but if you arent taking ap tests this year, then you have to send your scores through college board, after you have been admitted and decided which college you are going to. this one is not free though, not sure how much it is..

packerfan22: No you don't need to send them now. Just send it during the exams in May 2006 to the school that you're attending. (At least for UCs)

vagrant star: Umm.. are you sure? CollegeBoard does NOT send AP scores with SAT Scores. They're two separate reports.

ahh.. should have refreshed. Good info, green_apple.

hmm I got the impression that they did.. when I got the AP Scholar with Distinction award it said: "Your achievement is acknowledged on any grade report you send to colleges following the announcement of these awards." I figured that included the SAT reports..

wow so I gotta send those AP scores in!!
