I'm applying to a number of schools and I'm getting ready to send my scores. I received a 2270 on the SAT (including 800 on writing) and a 34 on the ACT. I know for some schools I'm applying to like Brown, if you send both they will revert to the SAT. However, I can't understand if other school do this.
Should I send both of my scores?!
Also, if I send the ACT to a school should I also send my SAT II's anyway?
The reason I want to send both is because I think I did pretty well on both.

Where did you hear that Brown “will revert to the SAT” if you send both scores? Brown uses either the ACT (alone) or the SAT plus two SAT IIs and I not aware of it reverting to one just because you send the other. Personally, I would just send both because both are high. Also as to your general question about sending SAT IIs to a college if you send ACT, the answer is that it depends. Many colleges don’t even use IIs for admission so it is pointless. Others like Brown use ACT or alternatively SAT and SAT IIs but for those sending IIs if high won’t hurt even if you send IIs in additon to the ACT. Others like Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell, MIT require IIs even if you send ACT.
