Sending both SAT and ACT scores

My SAT is a 2180 (CR/M/W = 630/770/780) and my ACT is a 34 (E/M/R/S/W = 34/35/30/35/9). I only took each once.

If I send in both, will they only look at my ACT or will my SAT score hurt me?

Basically, what should I do? How do they look at several scores?

This doesn't just go for Harvard; I want to know how this works for any Ivy or other top school.

Thanks in advance.

Your ACT score is about 100 points higher than your SAT score, so I would just send your ACT to all the schools on your list. Will it hurt you if you submit your SAT? No, as your SAT score already puts you within every ivy league school’s range.
