Hello!
I'm applying to Yale's SCEA, and I just realized that my college transcripts haven't been sent (I've taken a lot of dual-enrollment classes). I thought they were uploaded in the counselor form, but apparently not! I'm going to request these to be sent on Monday, but I know it can take a few weeks for Yale to actually get them, and November is fast approaching.

Does Yale need the college transcripts by the Nov. 1 deadline, or do they just have to be postmarked by then? Will they need my college transcripts to make a decision? My college courses are listed on my high school transcripts, so they will have them, but I know they'll need official ones from the college too.

They just need them before they finish reading files – which is about the end of Nov. BTW. If the school sends them on monday, they should arrive before the week’s end.

The old CA had a statement under where you list college coursework that said you should send an official college transcripts ASAP. However, I heard that the revised CA does not have this statement. If it doesn’t, call/email Y and ask them if an official transcript is needed if it’s on your HS transcript.

Sorry for late reply–thank you guys!
Yes, I emailed Yale and they did need the dual enrollment transcripts. If your counselor is able to upload a college transcript on the CommonApp, they prefer that; if not, send the hard copy. That’s what I understood the email as anyway. Hope that helps!
