Sending Cornell Summer College Transcript...

I attended Cornell Summer College, and Cornell wants me to "arrange to have a transcript sent to the Undergraduate Admissions Application Processing Center." And...I didn't. And...the admissions office is closed for break or whatever, and swamped with applications. What do I do? Can't they get my summer college transcript without my help? I don't even know how to go about sending my transcript to them. Whaddo I doooooo. :|

i forgot to send my transcript from penn state to the admissions office and i was still accepted ED.

My guess is that you will need to contact the registrar's office at Cornell and ask to have it sent over to the Undergraduate Admissions office. (You might want to look through your summer college materials and see what they say about sending transcripts--it is probably discussed, plus I would think you'd want to send the transcript to other schools you are applying to.) It's OK if that happens after the deadline--there are always items that straggle in during January (as long as it's not your application!). I think it is worth the effort, especially if you've done well. Cornell tends to like those students who have attended their Summer College, at least that is their reputation. That doesn't mean you will necessarily be accepted on that basis but it is another factor for them to consider and shows interest in Cornell.

go to uportal.cornell.edu and there is a link that will say transcript request. They overnight it wherever you want so go for it!

you can fax it to them, just make sure you have a cover letter. that's what i did last year. call the admissions office and ask for their fax number, or search for it online. (i actually just tried looking around my collegeapp stack of mess but couldn't find it..sorry) lol

edit: i meant cover page

follow what dande said and request a transcript when their office is open again. don't worry if you missed the deadline, they'll just slip one into your application file anyways.

they told me that they already have a file that they'll slip in for every applicant that went to the summer program. so when you're requesting the transcript, it's just to be sure that they didn't miss you or skip you.
