Sending Creative Writing Supplement?

<p>I love to write, and have been doing it for a long time, and I was thinking of submitting one of my poems as a supplement- creative writing. Is this a good idea? What's the "threshhold", I guess, for how good the writing has to be? (Since we all know English is pretty subjective to being with...)</p>

<p>If there's anyone who has any insight on this, and/or would like to review the poem, please leave a post along with what year you're applying to college :) Thanks in advance!</p>
