So I'm taking the SAT I for the first time this October, and I'm going to retake it again in December. I know my scores will come in time before the UC deadline for sending test scores, but would taking the December test affect my admissions to a top UC school? I mean yeah I know they said the deadline is December 31st, but I just wanted to ask. And I also wanted to ask if I should send my scores right away when I register for the SAT I, or if I should send the scores AFTER I get my EARLY scores? Would sending my scores after I receive them first affect my admissions? Should I also send my October scores just in case even if they're really bad? Let's say I get a 1750 on the October test and a 1950 on the December test, would that be okay? I mean schools just look at the higher test anyways right? So what do you guys think?

Dude you haven't even taken the test but you've already decided that you want to retake it?
And whenever you send the scores....the scores for every test you've taken will be sent.

Anybody else?

I THINK that if you take the one in Dec, then they'd only count your Dec. score. (meaning, if you got a higher score on Oct than Dec, then too bad.)

someone confirm/refute this.
