In order to apply for a Cal Grant I must submit two forms, the FAFSA and a GPA Verification Form. How would I send my FAFSA online to the California Student Aid Commission?

Is there a way of sending the FAFSA electronically?

Just submit the FAFSA online and list your colleges. Cal Grant will get it.

The GPA verification form may have been sent automatically by your high school-- check and see. If not, download it and take it in to the counselor-- they fill out part of it, then you send it in.

Be sure you list a California college(s) on the FAFSA when you submit it electronically. You don’t have to specifically submit it to the CSAC. The California Student Aid Commission will get it automatically, and a couple weeks later you can create an account here: <a href=“CSAC - Student Landing Home”>CSAC - Student Landing Home; and track your application. One financial aid person told me you had to list a California college first, and I really don’t think that is true, but I did anyway just to be safe.

Check with your current school’s registrar to see if they submitted your GPA, and bring this form: http://www.csac.ca.gov/pubs/forms/grnt_frm/200910CalGrantGPAVerificationForm.pdf with you just in case they didn’t.

Get it all in before Mach 2nd.

Ok, cool. Yeah, all of the colleges I listed on the FAFSA are in California. I’ll check to make sure my school sends it automatically.
