Is it okay if my counselor/teacher sends their forms out at different times?

IE:
teacher mails it out on 10/21
counselor mails it out on 10/23
I send it online on 10/29

Am I supposed to send it all at once? I'm really confused. LOL. I mean.. I think it's really messy if it's sent out at different times. T___T I would be really OCD about it.

It’s impossible to have everything arrive at the same time. Colleges start a file for you as soon as they receive any part of your application, then they just keep adding to it until it’s complete, so no problem with sending things at different times.

No worries, jenuwin01. When the college receives the first bit of information from you, be it a test score or rec letter, the admissions office starts a file for you, adding to it until it is complete. The only thing you need to truly be careful of is your name–make sure it’s consistent. That is, if your name is Robert, don’t be Bob on your letters of rec and Robert on your test scores–believe it or not, something as simple as that can cause a delay in your app.

Most schools (and I’ve worked at schools of varying sizes) file things in a miscellaneous credentials file until an application arrives. When an application arrives, staff go through the credential files to pull anything related to the applicant and make a folder. You’d be surprised by how many items arrive for students who never even apply. Want to see pictures?

What I mean is: what happens if your recs and transcript arrive before you submit your application online? The application fee won’t be paid until you submit online but will they hold onto the recs and transcript and sort them with the application once it arrives?

I think what Dean J is saying is that in your scenario, your recs and transcript will go in a “misc” bin. Once the app arrives/fee paid, then they’ll look through the “misc” bins for the other parts of your app.
