When the college receives the first bit of information from you, be it a test score or rec letter, the admissions office starts a file for you, adding to it until it is complete. The only thing you need to truly be careful of is your name–make sure it’s consistent. That is, if your name is Robert, don’t be Bob on your letters of rec and Robert on your test scores–believe it or not, something as simple as that can cause a delay in your app.</p>
