Sending grades?

I got deferred for early action and they didn't say I needed to send in my grades, they just said it would help to have strong fall grades.

I am wondering whether or not I should send them, first trimester i was in all honors classes except pre-calc. i got B+s in all the honors and a C in pre-calc. I know that C isn't really good...so I'm leaning towards not sending them. But maybe the will consider I took all honors with no electives senior year?

2nd trimester so far i improved my pre-calc grade to an A! But now I'm in physics and I have a C+. The rest of my classes are honors again and I'm probably going to get As this time in them....

Should I send them or no?? I'm thinking not but let me know what you think.

For kids who get accepted, what are the lowest grades you can get before they revoke your admission?

Also, do you recommend notifying them that I'm willing to take summer classes? I heard it helps but I'm not sure if that is true.

For those who get accepted, straight Cs are probably the line at which they start rescinding people.

Crap, I just re-read it and it said I do need to forward my fall grades. I guess I don’t have a choice anymore! GREAT.
When you say straight Cs do you mean all Cs or just a couple?

I’d say even a couple is pushing it, depending on what your other grades are. If you have, out of six classes, 2 Cs and 4As, I’m not sure if they would reject you. If you had, 2 Cs and 4 Bs, I’d be worried. I’m just speculating here.

One C doesn’t seem like too big of a deal. I’m sure the admission officers understand that C’s happen. If they’re consistent though, I’m guessing they might have a problem with it. This is only my speculation though.

Alright, that helped. Thanks guys!

do they look at your letter grades or just GPA? let say if i have a D on one of my classes’ semester exam, but my GPA for this fall semester is still about the same as my UM GPA that i applied with, should i still send them my fall grades or would this hurt my chance even more?

They look at your GPA. I think you should send them your semester grades if you were deferred.

To get your GPA, they look at your letter grades.

I got the letter saying that i didnt need to send in grades, and that it would only help my status in the deferral pool.

when i applied i had a 3.54 UM gpa

this fall semester I will be getting a 3.0 UM gpa…(A, B, B, B, C) btw, im taking 4 AP’s

like lincoln2591 asked before, will they consider my courseload? or will they just see that i slacked off senior year and did even worse then before.

the reason i got deferred was most likely because of my low gpa, and i did much lower than that now, so should i even bother sending in my grades?

and if i dont send in my grades, will they assume i didnt send them because i did bad and that i am not interested in the school anymore?
