I am a senior in high school and I plan to transfer from the college I will be attending this fall. How does obtaining your high school record to send to colleges as a transfer applicant work? Would I be able to obtain all the documents *now/i, or will I have to visit my high school then and have it send the record?

Same question. Bump.

You just go to your high school office and request a transcript to be sent to whatever school you want (make sure you have the address ready). They’ll also charge you a couple of bucks for the whole process.

^Oh, I knew that somewhat. My main question was whether it is possible to retrieve the documents from my high school before I graduate so I don’t have to come back here 2 years from now. Would I be allowed to do that and to mail my record myself when the time comes?

Should be fine as long as you don’t open the envelop or its void.

^ I have a question. Say like you’re applying to 10 schools as a transfer (I’m just making up numbers), how would you sent just that 1 HS transcript to all 10 different institutions?

You can’t you have to order 10 of them.

If you can’t go to the high school in person (2 years from now), you can probably call the records office or make a written request to have your records sent to colleges that you’re applying to transfer to.
