Sending high school transcript

I'm applying to the University of Maryland for next fall as a transfer student and I have a question about sending in my high school transcript. They state that if I have more than 30 credits (which I do) that I don't need to send in my high school transcript. My dilemma is that I believe my high school transcript compared to my college transcript shows a lot of improvement in my work ethic and attitude towards education. My high school gpa was beyond terrible and now I'm getting decent grades so would it do any harm to send in my high school transcript even though it's not necessary at this point?

I think it won’t be considered. You could call and ask.

It won’t do any harm to send them; it may or may not help.
