Sending IDOC

If I mail in my IDOC packet tomorrow the 22nd using regular mail, would it arrive on time by March 1st?
I live in Texas/.

Use Priority mail - I think it is 4/5 dollars. gets there in 2/3 days

If you don’t want to shell out for priority mail, ask at the post office first. That window of time could well be just fine.

I sent mine priortiy and asked to know when it was received. I’ve had things lost in the mail and feel better knowing it got there. My daughter had 3 recs get lost and did that with her second replacement set. When she got the confirmation, it calmed her down much more than “I’m sure it got there this time”. : )
Sometimes a little extra money is worth it, but from Texas, it should get there. I agree about asking the post office, they are good about judging time.

I’d given my IDOC to someone to mail. Unfortunately they mailed by US post Express mail instead of priority. Will IDOC accept USPS express mail. In case they don’t accept then what happens?

Thanks in advance.

Just an update IDOC did accept my package mailed by USPS express mail. Though it took 2 days for delivery, I’m not sure if late delivery was a USPS problem. It was mailed early on 3/1 from Salt Lake City and was delivered on 3/3.

On Express mail site it said “Your item was delivered at 11:02 AM on March 3, 2010 in MOUNT VERNON, IL 62864 to FSAP EXPRESS . The item was signed for by J JENKINS.”

So sending by Express mail is ok but doesn’t seem to buy any time. It costs more but than Priority mail. Only advantage is positive confirmation before IDOC updates their information about 3-4 days later.
