sending in 1st qtr grades

IF i applied early to a college should I send in my 1st quarter grades if they consist of half A's/half A-'s? Do colleges consider A-'s to be the same as A's basically? HeLP!!!!

bump…same question
also, which colleges require them? (certain schools don’t say either way)

I made some inquiries on this matter …all the admiss. offices said that they are not needed but if they do desire them along the process, they will contact the high school(s) and ask for them.

anyone else offer input?

For the majority of colleges, an A is an A is an A, whether it is an A- or A+

I wouldn’t bother to send quarter grades in

yeah i agree with fa lena, most colleges have A’s be A’s. but i wouldnt send them in, if they want them they will get them on their own.

if your gpa for 1st quarter is the same as or better than your average gpa throughout high school, or more specifically that of junior year.. definitely send them in

when did schools start requiring 1st quarter grades? I thought they just needed 1st semester, i.e. MidYear Score Report???

schools would only even consider requesting QUARTER grades if you apply ED/EA, correct? Otherwise for RD they want your official marking period, at my schools which is semester (the one that shows on transcript)?
