Sending in A level result

Do I have to send in my final A level result? For comparison, A levels are equivalent to AP. Do US kids send in AP scores if they get a 1 or 2. Its not required is it? The University is asking for a finaltranscript by July 15th and A level results are released 13th August. Classes start 28th August. Anyone who has experience, help a little?

Yes. US students send in all AP scores to their intended school for the fall. You send one report that has all your scores, but colleges do not factor these scores for admissions retention (you won’t get rescinded), they are only required for transfer credit and placement. Would your school give you credit for your A-level exams, if so, I would send them. They would get sent as soon as the results are released. I would send them regardless actually, because they’ll expect to see the scores for the classes you’ve taken.

It’s not necessary. Many students don’t even take their AP exams. What is required is a copy of your final transcript, which does not need to include your CIE-evaluated A Level grades. I do believe that Grinnell offers credit for A Levels, though? If you want credit, you ought to submit those results.

If you’re not certain, ask the university directly.
