sending in ACT/SAT scores for EA

I want to find out what my October ACT score is before I send in my SAT score in order to see if it is higher. Is it ok if I do this if I am applying EA?
Thanks.

It depends when your EA application is due. If it is due towards the beginning of November, you probably would have been required to submit your scores on test day by indicating the school on the test itself. If not, you may be able to view your test scores before submitting them (October ACT scores are released November 9, 2010 – December 27, 2010).

Good luck!

You better send SAT scores now (today, immediately) for any college that had a Nov 1 app deadline. Scores can arrive after Nov 1 but don’t assume it is much after which you would be doing if you wait another week to send.

what if I send in the SAT now and then, if my ACT is better, send that in too? Like if my ACT score is better than my SAT score, would they disregard the SAT and only look at my ACT score?

if they haven’t reviewed your file yet when they receive your ACT score (let’s assume that is around 11/25), they will take the better of the SAT composite, and the SAT superscore.
