Sending in ACT score late?

Hey, I plan on taking the ACT on the October 25 date. But the problem is I want to apply early. I know that this date is ok for early. However, I want to know how I do before I send it in. Will Yale let me send in the score late after I see it?

question on this also.
will yale consider my sat subject test if i retake it in november? or is that completely out of the question? i read somewhere that even once you send the application, it is okay that sat/subject test scores come after.

Yale will take Nov. scores for early. But my problem is I don't want to send my score without knowing what I got. So it will take an extra 2 or 3 weeks.

Please, does anyone have experience with this?

I wouldn't recommend you sending the scores to yourself and then to Yale 2-3 weeks later. The ACT can never provide you with an actual date and that is just too risky. The SAT usually stands by the date that they specify. However, because the last test date is in November for early admissions, I would send Yale your scores before you receive them. It's too risky to be picky when you don't have much time. I called the admissions office and an officer told me that scores typically arrive on time for the test dates they provided. (She did say, however, that there has been times when scores did not arrive on time.)
