Sending in ACT scores

I’m planning to apply to UT- Austin this year and as it’s my number 1 pick I want to apply as early as possible. I plan on submitting my application on the first day and things like my transcript when school starts. However, I recently decided I should take the ACT bc my SAT score was good but not great, the next ACT isn’t until October though. Will it hurt me to turn in a score that late? (plus I’ve already submitted my SAT score to them will that hurt?)

Writing- 650
Critical Reading- 710
*Hoping to score 30 or better on ACT

No, it will not hurt. Applying early to McCombs won’t increase your chances.
What are your EC’s? Are they solid to compensate for your SAT?
