Sending in AP scores?

Does it matter? Will it be to any advantage to send it in now as opposed to later?

For example, for my AP world test when I was taking it, I put one school not really thinking it mattered, probably jokingly. (i got a 4)

Wont the colleges you apply to see your score when you apply?

so whats the advantage?

Sending scores when you take the tests is mostly for seniors who already know where they are going to college.

There is no advantage. In fact, it is a waste of money. Self-report on the app and then send to the school where you matriculate. No schools (that I know of, at least) require an official ap score report with your application.

The only school I know of that considers AP scores is UC Berkeley. Maybe some of the other UCs too?
