Sending in CC Transcripts

My grades appear on my high school transcript. When I send it in, will they not count as college credit unless they appear on a college transcript? Does this mean that if I don’t send in the additional transcript that my CC grades would be considered to have been used for satisfying high school graduation requirements and nothing more?

If college grades appear on your high school transcript, then yes they will be considered as high school courses and credit as such.

Yeah so send in your CC transcript so you get college credit. The grades you get at CC don't count for your college GPA, so it doesn't matter if you get a B instead of an A.

I had a few community college grades on my high school school transcript, but I had to send in an official community college transcript as well. Just go to your CC and get them to send a transcript.

If the classes were UC approved, you'll get transfer credit for it

"If you wish to receive transfer credit for any college courses you have taken, we must also have official transcripts from the college/university where you took these courses, even if the college work appears on your high school transcript."

Alright... cool. Thanks guys. (I just found that excerpt on this page, so I just felt I should make it official.)

do any college courses taken during high school years factor into your college GPA?

Community college courses do not factor into your GPA. Only classes taken while you are at the UC will count towards your UC GPA.

does this apply only to community college grades, or also to classes taken at a uc while in high school?

Well it applys to the cal-states too, I know that for sure.

actually many ppl have said that cc gpa WILL factor into college gpa IF you apply for grad school. I think its cus the grad school admissions want to see ALL college courses taken and technically CC is a college. so while ur at UC-whatever, ur transcript wont have ur CC stuff but u have to submit ur cc transcript to grad school and they will add that into ur UC gpa. This is my understanding, correct me if im wrong.

atlantiz is correct

When ever you post your gpa on any documen you post your college GPA, not UC GPA or a GPA of only one of the college you attended.

You legally/ethically are suppose to state your cumlative college gpa

that means all colleges and all classes even if you took it during high school and recieved dual high school college credit for it.

Matt30 is also correct
in that if you send a JC transcript in to a CSU that college will present your Cumlative gpa from all college courses even if it wasnt taken there.

UC's will only do this if you request it.
