Sorry to keep talking about this...but why are the Residential colleges "special interest" floors? What is the difference between New, North, and Birnkrant and Birnkrant, New, North Residential Colleges? On the housing application, it has special interest codes for these options which I don't get. Any help would be appreciated.

Those special interest floors are kind of like high school clubs. They just bring together individuals with common interests, such as hiking or ethnicity. They aren't required, but I listed them anyway. I think the special interest groups would make college life more lively. :)

no i understand what the special interest floors are, like health and wellness, cinema etc. but the special interest floors are specifically called New, North, and Birnkrant Residental Colleges instead of the normal residential halls and it says people just get together and do activities. I'll probably call the admissions office tommorow but thanks for the help.

North has a business floor on the second floor where a lot of business students live. I assume the RA has special activities for them. New has the cinema floor on the 3rd floor, which I assume works the same way.

you should check out the "current trojans taking Q's" thread. they talk about housing alot.
