Sending in recs, test scores, etc. before applications?

I was wondering if there was anything wrong with sending my test scores, my teacher recommendations, and maybe my school transcript to the schools I'm applying to before I send in my application(for some schools, 2 months or so before I'll likely send in my application). Will the admissions offices file these forms this early on, and are they more likely to lose these forms and not have them go along with my application at a later date?

I really need to know, thanks in advance.

that is not a problem. The college will just stuff everything in a pending file, awaiting the application. However, you might check to see if your desired college has a "pre-app" which will is not much more than your name, address, HS, etc.. If so, you could send that in (with a check, of course) and they will open a file for you.

If you send in your other docs without the app, they just file it until they have all of it so it shouldn't be a problem
