<p>Do I have to submit my Common App first before sending in my transcript/letters of recommendation to schools? Or will the schools just create a file for me and then wait for my Common App?</p>
<p>You can send your paperwork ahead of the electronic app. Just be sure your full name and other identifying information is on the paperwork (birthdate and permanent address are helpful). Colleges have no trouble matching everything up.</p>
