Sending in SAT score for NM before being named a SF

<p>I took the PSAT in October and know that I'm going to be a Semi-finalist. My score is over ten points above my state's highest cutoff. I'm signed up for the January SAT and am curious if I'd be able to send in my SAT score to National Merit Corporation, or if I'd have to wait until the officially announce SFs. </p>

<p>Also, I've done a little searching and can't find the answer to this: If I send one of my free 4 score reports to a college now, will I have to keep on sending them newer score reports if I take the SAT more than once (basically limiting my ability to sending scores to 4 colleges for free)? Or will they be sent my subsequent scores even though I didn't name them in both tests?</p>

<p>You can provide your SAT score to NMC after the Jan test. College Board does not automatically send new scores to colleges to which it has already sent old scores.You will have to order scores sent again if you want a college to have any future test after sending it the Jan test.</p>
