sending in SAT score late & other questions

my background:
I'm an international student and currently senior in a local high school in Taiwan(language of instruction:Chinese). I have been in local system for my whole life and I started planning to apply for colleges in the US this year.(I have to figure all the things up myself since students in my school usually goes to local colleges in Taiwan and they don't take SAT, and my school has little information for this)
Tests:
I took SAT reasoning(2050), subject test math2(790), physics(750),and will be taking chemistry this weekend.
My high school grades are pretty good, but my EC's are soso.(students in Taiwan don't really have much ECs)

I applied for UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCD and UW. will be applying for some other schools on regular decision. (UVA,Umich,BC,USC) can anyone chance me or give me some advise on schools i should apply to?

In addition, I realized that I picked the wrong major for Berkeley and submitted and sadly Berkeley doesn't allow changing majors. I picked Chemical Biology(which is in the college of Chemistry) instead of biochemistry(which is in the college of L&S). From what I've heard, the reputation of college of Chemistry is pretty crazy(like super good). And I think I just killed my chance of getting in Berkeley by selecting a much more competitive college. Do anyone know how exact more competitive is CoC than L&S? Do I still have a chance to get in Berkeley?

Unfortunate event number two is that I didn't realize I have to send my official SAT scores by the deadline Dec. 1st for UW. So I rushed my scores yesterday but it still takes two business day according to collegeboard. So basically my SAT will be about 2~3 days late to the school. Exactly what will happen to me? Will they deny me for this? also, on the website, they say that they accept Dec scores if applicants send them right in. Will it be better if I chose UW for one of the four free recipients of my scores for Dec and have alll my scores sent in?

Also, for other schools(like UCs or common app school), when should I send my scores? I have never send any of my scores to any school yet. Should I send them now or send them along with my chemistry subject test in December?

Sorry about all the naiive questions I have. I'm very unfamiliar with the process and have very little information due to my background. I really look forward to any kind of suggestions and help.

come on, anyone?

The only way you can change your major designation on the UC app in relation to Berkeley is to actually call the college’s admission office and do so. I doubt your chances for Berkeley are really different just because you applied chemistry rather than biochemistry.

Not sure to which UW you are referring since that could refer to more than one college but you likely wasted money in doing a rush delivery – whatever UW it is, the score can arrive after the application deadline date and as long as you order regular delivery on or before deadline date you are fine.

As to other colleges, you could send your scores now or order them sent as part of your Dec. test but best to name the colleges in your registration file for the test as one of your free sends or as an additional send if it is more than 4. Note, you need send scores to only one UC and all other UCs to which you apply will automatically get them from that one.

A different issue is whether you need that Dec test. You only need two SAT IIs and if you already have two good scores (you do) sending more than two to a college that requests two adds little to nothing to your application.

As to chances , it is not possible to estimate since test scores are only one part of what is considered and courses and grades are very important. Nevertheless, as an internaional, your SAT is likely a little low for Berkeley or UCLA but in range for others.

It’s UW at seattle, I just checked and it turned out collegeboard made it within Dec. 1st. I’m not sure what date is the deadline for submitting scores but either way it’s ganna be fine(pheww)
Thank you so much for the advise. I don’t know how much difference does my intended major makes,( but in my country, its pretty important so I assumed that would be same in the US. )I felt much better now >:P
