Sending in SAT SCORES: Please Help!

Harvard accepts SAT I and II scores from the Jan. 23 date. Do I have to add Harvard to the list of colleges that I want to send my scores to before CollegeBoard posts the scores on Feb. 11th? Or could I wait until the 11th to see my scores first before sending them off to Harvard? In other words, if I send them in on Feb. 12, for example, will they get to Harvard too late to be considered for my application?

Thanks!

You can pay and request to send now, but they won’t mail until Feb. 11.

Maybe you don’t understand what I am saying. I don’t have the scores yet. I’m doing the SAT tomorrow. Do I have to put Harvard as a college I want to send my scores to within the 9 days after I do the SAT? Or could I wait to see my scores first until I send them? If I wait to see my scores first, will Harvard not get my scores early enough to consider them (i.e. will my scores be too late)?

^F… Sorry, that part skipped my head for some reason.

Yes, you can wait until you see your scores. Don’t have to list now, no.

Thank you!

I mean, you really don’t have a choice. They won’t send it until two weeks after your test, which is also the date that they release scores.

But isn’t the SAT repport deadline Feb 7?

I thought they will accept your repport only if you request the mailing before that deadline.

Yes, check the deadline to receive (at Harvard) scores. If you do not list Harvard to receive scores until after you receive them, they will be delayed another two weeks. Harvard will just use your highest reported scores anyway, so why not have them sent automatically?
