Sending in SATs as well as ACTs

Three schools (Yale, Penn, and Duke) I'm applying to want either the SAT's or ACT. Since I got a 35 on the ACT I figured out that was enough so I just got the ACT sent. However, I also took the SAT twice, w/ my higher score being 2280, and took 3 SATII's, with Math II 780, US His 780, and Chem 760. Do you think it would be worth sending my SATs to these schools or should I just stick w/ my ACT, since its a little higher than the SATI and they at least say either one is fine? If you have any ideas, I am thankful for your input!

I think you should just send the ACt..at least that I would do.

I had the same question...they all say that only one is optional. However, my SAT 2 Chemistry was great(770) and I'd like to show them that, but my SAT 2 math wasn't great (640). I had a 710 on the regular SAT for math, but I keep feeling that the Math 2 will count against me, even if they only use tests that will help you. However, your scores are great. If I were YOU, I would send both personally.

I disagree with Sheed. While your ACT scores are significantly better looking than your SAT scores, I hear that Eastern seaboard schools don't really care too much about the ACT.

I would send both. Your SAT scores are not bad. Let them choose you.

bump............
