sending in supplementary material

<p>tiyusufaly, I think that's a good idea. I'll wait a day or so to see if someone on cc happens to answer, and if not I will email them.</p>

<p>I plan on sending an abstract everywhere but Duke. I think two paragraphs is sufficient to describe the research I am doing. I will probably e-mail Duke to get confirmation, but I don't think I would have anything to gain by sending in the abstract.</p>

<p>Is the letter from the governors school written by someone who personally knows you very well? Or is it a more general letter? You should limit your outside recommendation letters [1 or at the most 2] to those who can add important additional information about you that won't be included your teacher recommendation letters.</p>

<p>I think the governor's school rec is written by my advisor from my team project. He has information/reviews of my work in other classes there to help write the rec I believe. Maybe I could get them to send it to my counselor, and if she thinks it's good use it?</p>
