I already knew what dorm I wanted before I started my application! IF I get in, I’m going to apply to East Fairchild/CRC (Communications Residential College). It’s bad to be so attached…

It seems pretty ambiguous either way you look at it. I highly doubt they are released over the weekend, so I assume the 11th is a fair estimate.

Yea they can’t really do much with an extra day on monday the 14th. And they’ll most likely send it out before the weekend cause the office is usually closed.

I think we should flood them with phone calls next week. Like they have to have, at the very least, an estimate.

Perididdle, me too haha…if I don’t get in, I don’t know what I’m gonna do…I’m absolutely in love with the school and have been researching it nonstop…

back to the strengths thing, mine are personal statement, rec letters, extra curriculars/leadership, and demonstrating strong passion in life

My strengths, I’d say, were my rec letter(s), my essays (I thought my Common App one at least was pretty strong), and a pretty rigorous high school schedule with a good GPA.

yeah, i agree with the rigorous schedule and gpa too…i can’t wait to hear back!

How many AP courses will you guys have completed by the end of senior year?

I got me 10 plus 3 college courses

11 APs
10char

whoops, i just realized that question wasn’t intended for the mass thread…!
Void comment #208.

I will have done taken seven APs (my school offers nine).

I’ll have had 4, but my school only offers 5…

I live in such a small town that my school doesn’t offer AP classes (instead they offer college classes in conjunction with a state university so we study the same curriculum as college students do and we can get credit for them if we pay for it). They think AP is a waste of time.

I have seven AP classes. My school offers 11 AP classes, but only one before junior year. It’s whack.

What’s whack is that we all presumably check this at school or in the morning…
This S*** is making me a whacked out motherf…

A mother **** e r? Yeah. Has anyone called the office yet?

AH. they haven’t asked for my first quarter grades…is that badd???
:-p

They don’t ask for first-quarter grades. You can voluntarily submit them, but it’s too late in the game to do that now if you’re an ED applicant.

Will the people who are admitted need to submit midyear reports, etc. after Christmas?

The school information section on the Common Application interface says that NU only requires a Final Report of ED admits.
