So, from what I've gathered from researching this site and the USC website, TRANSFER students are not required to do any of those school forms. I'm just curious if it would be okay for my professors to give me their recommendation in a sealed and envelope and I send it out? Also, how on earth would they know if it's my recommendation? Would they just open it and match it with my name or something? Do I send it out in a bunch? Thanks.

If your recommender gives you a sealed envelope, leave it sealed and put your name as it is on your application and USC ID# (or birthdate if you don’t have a USC ID#) on the outside of the envelope. Many students print up stickers with their name, address and birthdate to place on all supplemental materials they send. Then put that envelope inside a larger envelope addressed to USC and include a self-addressed, stamped postcard in the larger envelope as well. USC will mail the postcard back to you and you will know your materials were received.

Good luck!
