sending materials for app to usc (HELP)

<p>i waited until the last minute to apply to usc and i am confused on some things. i'm applying online but i have to send some things. i have one sealed envelope with a letter of rec, and another sealed envelope with my official high school transcript. on the instructions it says:</p>

Send official high school transcripts by mail from each high school you've attended. Be sure to attach a copy of Form 8, Transcript Request Form for High School Records to each high school transcript you submit.</p>

<p>was i supposed to give my school this form earlier then they were supposed to put it inside the sealed envelope with my official transcript? what if i didnt?</p>

<p>also, it said that i should try to send everything together. my letter of rec is unfolded and in a large envelope. am i supposed to put that envelope, my letter with my transcript, and my sat score summary paper in one giant envelope together?</p>

<p>My understanding is that the transcript should be sent directly from the school and the letter of rec from the writer so that it is clear they are original and have not been altered in any way. The SAT report needs to come directly from college board - go on-line to have them send it.</p>
