Sending more recommendation letters than required to a college?

<p>I already asked two teachers to send recommendation letters to University of Maryland College Park, but College Park only requires one teacher recommendation. Will it look bad if I do send two? I really don't want to ask a teacher not to send the recommendation because then they might get offended.
Does anyone know if it is a big deal sending two recommendation letters when one is required?</p>

<p>You can send as many recommendations as you want. Two is certainly a good number because it will show them two different perspectives.</p>
