I'm sure that this is already asked, but i'm in a hurry, sorry. Most of the schools I'm applying requires only 1 teacher recommendation, so what if I send 2 recs, is it okay?

Yes, it's ok, IF the extra recs will highlight different aspects of your wonderfulness. If both recs just say the same things about you, then you'll just be wasting people's time (adcoms, teachers). If one is strong and one is weak, that might raise eyebrows and the adcoms will take their cues as to what it means from the rest of your application and perhaps any knowledge they have of your school. If the recs are good but your scores/GPA/other tangible parts of your record are unusually low for the college you're applying to, the adcoms may think you're trying to pad your application... and it probably won't work.

However, if the two teachers have known you from very different perspectives and each will describe different positive qualities, share different anecdotes showing how great you are, paint a different view of your amazing picture... then the extra rec will not only be allowed, but probably will actually be appreciated.

Good luck!

Most schools will be alright with it, but some schools say that you can only have x amount of recs. Make sure that the school will allow it. I know Duke allows the 3rd teacher to have a separate form, but they encourage a parent or a community leader that would shed a new light on the student.

Thank you! I'm afraid they wrote similar things.
