Sending multiple ACT Scores

I took the ACT in april and got a composite 29 (35 english, 28 math, 28 reading, 25 science, 11 writing). I took it again in june and got a composite 33 (33 english, 33 math, 34 reading, 33 science, 8 writing. )

None of the schools i'm applying to superscore, but they all recommend you send all your scores because they will "look" at all of them. whatever that means.

Should I send both scores, since my english and writing sections were higher the first time? and because it shows improvement? or should i only send the 33?

i have good reason why I scored poorly the first time around, but I don't think there is anywhere i can indicate that.

There’s usually an ‘additional information’ section on every application where you can explain your situation. College counselors read everything that you submit, and they’re human, so they’ll understand.

Also, I’d just submit your second score because a 33 and a 35 are both good English scores, and I don’t think writing scores will greatly affect your chances (or at least I hope not, since I also received an 8 on the essay…).
