Sending multiple SAT test scores

I took the SAT my freshman and sophmore years just to get used to the test and to see what I could get. Well, my mom sent the scores to everywhere I want to apply and they were not good scores. I have taken the SAT 2 more times this year (Junior) and do not plan to take it again. When I apply next year I will have to send both of this years scores because I did better on the CR on 1 date and better on the math and writing on another date. Basically what I'm wondering is how bad sending 4 SAT's will look to UNC, NCSU and USC-Columbia.

Also, I got a 1600 freshman year and my highest superscore is a 1920

If you submit multiple SAT scores to UNC or NCSU, they will use for admission your highest section scores from the multiple tests, i.e., it is to your advantage to send multiple scores. SC will use that SAT test with the highest composite score. Either way sending multiple scores does not hurt you. That is generally true of all colleges.

For schools practice on multiple SAT scores, see http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/sat-score-use-practices-list.pdf</a>
There is nothing on the list saying a limit of attempts except a few schools that mentioned here or there in other places. 85% of students take no more than twice. The study also showed there is little improvement after the third attempt. If the scores have already matched your average practice scores, you should not expect any significant increase in scores simply by retaking it.

Here is a good article about taking SAT multiple times:
