If there are bs applicants who are sending their music or athletic CD/DVD as supplements to their application, can you tell me how you send it? DO you send it together with applications or separately? DO you recommend to use a big envelope with bubbles?
I would appreciate your feedback.

I’m sending it separate and not a regular size envelope but nice like a huge one, just one that it fits in and won’t break in.

And remember to send it in the format they want it. We sent a DVD to Andover of my daughter playing her instrument, and they asked for a CD instead (just a couple of weeks before decisions were sent). So, we complied. Other schools may be more flexible as to format.

I don’t think they mind really, but I’m sending it separate, like DEtrombone, so it won’t break, along with my photography portfolio.

Will it decrease your chances if you don’t send in anything? I play piano and flute, but I don’t have the time to record a CD.

definitely not… I don’t even know if I am for sure for both my instruments

it won’t decrease your chances but it wouldn’t help you… i mean if piano was your most significant EC and you didn’t send in a CD… well, good luck if instruments play a big part in your app, i’d definitely recommend sending one in…

If you are going to send in an athletic DVD, I’d recommend getting in touch with the coaches and asking them where to send it. I’d assume it would be separate. With music, I’m not sure.

i thought the admission office distributes music cds to the music dept, and athletic dvd to the athletic dept.

Well, I’m sending a DVD of my piano playing to Phillips Exeter. It’s not my most major Does anyone know if they prefer DVD or CD?

i would think CD, not positive though

Call the admissions office and ask.
