I have a quick question about standardized testing that I would really appreciate an answer to. I know Yale requires the ACT with Writing or the SAT with two additional subject tests. I am curious about whether or not I should send my ACT and my SAT scores. Though my SAT score is substantially higher (2240), my ACT score still reaches the middle 50% of those accepted (31). Do you advise sending in my ACT score as well-- would it appear as a sign of initiative, or would the relatively weak score hinder my chances?

I would just send SAT. Equivalent ACT is about a 34 I believe.

I agree. I don’t see the point in sending the ACT.

Why waste the money on the ACT when you have higher SAT scores? Send the SAT only!

Send the sat only.
