sending my ACT

Hi, i am debating whether i should send just 2 or 1 ACT to score choice schools. I’m applying to top schools…i know i wish i could have done better but i tried my best. 33 superscored

Composite 32 on both of them, but the scores are distributed differently.

  1. i have Reading- 34, Math-33, Grammar-32? Science-28
  2. Reading-32 Math-33 Grammar- 35, Science- 27 ? 35 essay

Please help, I’m not sure if it will look bad to send in ACTs that are similar and barely any improvement, except my essay and grammar are really good.

If the school wants to see your essay send the one with the essay. If the school superscores then send them both. If you have to just choose one to send, then just choose one, both are so similar it doesn’t matter.

Ok thanks. Notre Dame, UVA, and NYU don’t superstore but they look at the top scores. So this won’t hurt me to send in similar scores with hardly any big improvement?

If you only want to send one of the two scores, I’d advise sending #2, as your English and Math scores are higher, and you have the 35 writing.
